Jodi Hansen has worked for Utah Family Voices since 2007.  When asked what her favorite part of her job is, she said that it was “definitely being able to help other families that have special needs.  There is nothing more rewarding than feeling you can educate someone and can make a difference in their lives.”  She feels extremely lucky to have a job that she loves so much.  Jodi has two children, one son that just turned into a monster – she means a teenager.  Brendon has been diagnosed with anxiety and has tendencies of Aspergers.  Her other son, Jacob, has multiple disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis and seizure disorder.  Jodi loves being a wife and mom and feels blessed to be able to have children with special needs.  It has given her an opportunity to meet many people that she would never have had the privilege of meeting.  Each of them have changed her life for the better.

Tina Persels is a wife and mother of two children.  In February of 2000, Tina had her first baby.  He was born at 28 weeks with many complications.  He spent the first year of his life in the ICU and is now a very happy, healthy little boy.  He lives with  multiple disabilities and is medically fragile, but is meeting his goals everyday.  Tina feels that her children deserve every opportunity and sees optimal outcomes for them both.  Today Tina works as a Parent Consultant with Utah Family Voices to educate families of children with special health care needs about opportunities and services available to them.  She is also an Arts Educator with the Utah Arts Council focusing on teaching children of all abilities about art and each other.
